Liability: I am participating in Snail Trail Series, Blitz, Chaos, other trail races, valley hikes, helicopter trips, wildlife experiences, mountain treks or culture tours organized by Von Kathmandu Adventures Pvt. Ltd. and Bishnudole Farmhouse, and know that participating in an adventure event is potentially hazardous. I should not enter unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume any and all risks associated with participating in this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, spectators, animals, vehicles or inanimate objects, the effects of weather and trail conditions with all such risks being known and acknowledged by me. Knowing these facts and in consideration of the acceptance of my entry, I hereby for myself, my heirs, guardians, executors, government, administrators, representatives, anyone over whom I act as guardian or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge Von Kathmandu Adventures Pvt. Ltd. and Bishnudole Farmhouse, organizers, officials, medics, partners, workers, collaborators, vendors, drivers, pilots, marshals, guides, porters, ground staff, photographers, sponsors, team members, hosts, audience, spectators, and the volunteers of all events and trips by Von Kathmandu Adventures Pvt. Ltd. and Bishnudole Farmhouse, including their agents, employees, assigns or anyone acting on their behalf from any and all claims or liability for death, injury, property damage or property loss of any kind whatsoever, including any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, in the course of my participation in this event.
Information, Trails & Safety: I confirm that I have read full race details on the race website and agree to download the course map GPS/KML on my phone which I am required to carry with me during the race. I agree to follow correct trail markings while putting my safety and the safety of other participants and locals in priority. In the event I miss the race course, I agree to refer to the course map on my phone and fix my course, without disputing race results.
Communication & Data Privacy: I agree to receive any race-related email, text, phone call and message through any media - individualized or group - before, during and after the race. This will be pertinent to updates, reminders, safety checks, warnings, requests, and other general information.
Dependent Minors: I take full and unconditional responsibility of any dependent minor (under the age of 18) participating in the event. For minors 12 years old or under, I will accompany him/her throughout the event, on the trails and at the venue. My dependent has appropriate gear for the event, which includes mandatory shoes, cap, shoes and extra water.
Results and Model Release: I grant full permission to use and publish my name, age category, results, timings, and likeliness, as well as any photographs, video clips and any record of this event in which I may appear for any legitimate purpose, including advertising and promotion, digital or print. (Your contact information and date of birth will not be published or sold.)
Refunds and Late Fees: I understand that refunds are provided only if the event is cancelled by the organizers, and that I am not eligible for refunds for my absence, late arrival and/or withdrawal mid event for any reason or circumstances, including getting lost, injured, disqualified or inability to finish the course. I also understand that the payments are non-refundable across race and between participants. I agree to pay the late fees if I miss deadlines.
Event Cancellation: The organizers can cancel the event or change the race course pre- or mid-event to ensure safety of all participants. Reasons for cancellation can include but are not limited to adverse weather, political unrest, dangerous trail conditions, heavy smog etc. In such cancellation cases, you will be refunded, unless you choose to defer the payment for next race.
Rules and Policies, and Courteous Decorum: I agree to present myself in a civil manner and regardless of the reason, I will refrain from expressing myself in a disruptive or unruly manner, example by shouting, disturbing the admin or trail team, compromising others' safety, being unruly and uncooperative, or uttering profanities, in this family-friendly event, especially with small kids in the premises. I agree to consequences if I violate the rules unknowingly or deliberately. The consequences can include requests, warning, expulsion, and barring, in no particular order.
I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD, OR MY PARENT/GUARDIAN HAS REVIEWED THE ABOVE AND CONSENTED TO MY PARTICIPATION. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I GUARANTEE THAT ALL THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS CORRECT AND AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND AGREE TO IT.
